Bihar gets investment proposals worth over Rs 9,000 cr : Minister

Patna : Industry Minister Jai Kumar Singh on April 3, 2018, informed Bihar legislative council that the state government has received more than 700 investment proposals worth over Rs 9,000 crore during the last 15 months due to an atmosphere conducive to  industrial growth. The Minister highlighted efforts made by the state government under Industrial Investment Promotion Policy 2016 to draw investment in the state. He said that since January, 2017, 759 proposals of investment worth Rs 9,118 crore had been received. Singh was replying to a question of BJP MLC Rajesh Kumar.
