Muzaffarpur : Bihar defeated Delhi by 83 runs in the first match of Group B in All India Women’s T20 cricket played at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Muzaffarpur, on March 22, 2018. Electing to bat first after winning the toss, the Bihar Women’s team scored 172 in 20 overs. In reply, Delhi team could score 89/6 in 20 overs.
The tournament has been oragnised to mark the celebration of Bihar Diwas. The teams from 6 states: UP, Uttarakhand, MP, Bihar, Haryana, and Delhi, are participating in the tournament. Bihar, Delhi, Haryana are in Group A while UP, Uttarakhand, and MP are in Group A. Muzaffarpur DM Dharmendra Singh inaugurated the tournament.
