Bhojpur SP takes action against SI

Ara: Bhojpur SP Kshatranil Singh line closed a Sub-Inspector Nagendra Kumar posted at Town police station, Ara,  on September 1 for thrashing and demanding money from a BJP worker. Vibhu Jain, a BJP worker, had gone to Town Police Station on August 31 to get his character certificate. SI Nagendra Kumar demanded Rs 100 from him for making character certificate but Bibhu Jain refused to pay the money. At this, the SI beat him at the Police Station. Agitated over the incident, the BJP activists had staged a day long dharana at Gopali Chowk demanding lodging of FIR against the SI and also his suspension.
