Bhojpur SP suspends 3 police personnel

Ara : Bhojpur SP Aditya Kumar on February 15, 2019, suspended three police personnel including an ASI for allegedly  realizing illegal amount from the truck drivers during duty hours. The action has been taken against ASI Shashi Bhushan Singh, Constable Seemant Kumar, and Homeguards personnel, Ratneshwar Singh. Departmental action has also been initiated against them.

ASP (Operations) Nitin Kumar said that he was returning from Piro after conducting raids there around midnight on February 14 when he found some police personnel realizing money from the truck drivers. He caught them red handed and reported the incident to the SP who took serious note of the matter and suspended them with immediate effect. The Homeguards personnel would be dismissed, he said.
