Ara : Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar on September 10, 2019, lineclosed Station House Officer (SHO), Nawada police station, Ara, Lallan Kumar, due to his tainted image.
Director General of Police (DG), Bihar, Gupteshwar Pandey, had issued direction not to depute any police personnel as SHO who had ttainted background. Despite his order, Lallan Kumar continued as SHO, Nawada police station, Ara. When this matter came to light, Bhojpur SP immediately lineclosed the SHO. The SP said that action against Lallan Kumar would be taken after inquiry.
