Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, recovered three girls from three different places in Bhojpur district on May 16, 2017, and produced them before Ara Civil Court on May 17. Police also brought them over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination. One of them alleged that the kidnappers outraged her modesty while the two others said that they had gone on their own.

Police recovered a teenage girl from Haldi Chhapara, Patna, on May 16. SHO, Barahara police station, said that the girl was kidnapped from her native village New Sabalpur under Barahara police station on December 28, 2016, and a named FIR was lodged with Barahara police station against Rupesh Pandey alias Chhotu of Sabalpur village under the same police station on the statement of the girl’s mother on May 4, 2017, after the family members failed to trace her.

The girl told police that the kidnappers took her to Mahuar in Patna district and then to Hyderabad where they kept her in a room for 20 days. She said that Rupesh Pandey, Sanjay Singh and Gautam Yadav raped her daily there. She was kept in the house of a relative of Gautam Yadav in Hyderabad. She said that the miscreants shifted  their hideout frequently but everyday they raped her. About a month ago, they brought her to Haldi Chhapara in Patna district and confined her in a room but her ordeal did not end here.

In another incident, Bhojpur police with the help of their Madhepura counterpart, conducted raids at Chanda-Diwani Tola under Purani Bazaar police station in Madhepura district and recovered a teenage girl but the kidnapper could not arrested. SHO, Piro police station, said that Sonam of Ibrahimpur locality under Piro police station was missing since March 26, 2017. She was brought her to Ara on May 16 evening. Her grandfather had lodged a named FIR against Md Subhani in connection with her disappearance. Sonam old the police that she loved Md Subhani and had eloped with him tied nuptial knot with him and wishes to live with him adding that her in-laws had also accepted her.

A teenage girl Prema Kumari of Dhibara Tola under Sikarhataa police station, on the other hand, appeared before the Sikarhatta police station and said that she had eloped with her lover Nepali Mahto of Gagar Tola under Bikramganj police station in Rohtas district who lived at Dhibara Tola under Sikarhatta police station in Bhojpur district on May 9, 2017 and both went to Panipat in Haryana where they tied the knot and wished to live with him. Her mother had lodged an FRI alleging kidnapping of her daughter with Sikarhatta police station.
