Ara : Bhojpur police with the help of their Buxar counterpart recovered a woman and her daughter from Buxar and brought them over to Ara.
SHO, Nawada police station, Ara, said that Neetu Devi and her daughter Janu Kumari were missing from Pakad Ped Wali Gali under Nawada police station in Bhojpur district since May 31, 2019. Ashok Singh, husband of Neetu Devi, had lodged a named FIR with Nawada police station on June 1, 2019, alleging that Sanjay Kumar of village Khaira under Sahar police station had kidnapped his wife and daughter Janu Kumari along with jewellery worth about Rs 1.6 lakh and their lives are at stake. After institution of FIR, police swung into action and recovered Neetu Devi and her daughter Janu Kumari from Buxar.
