Bhojpur police recover missing girl from Ara

Ara : Police on February 26, 2019, recovered a girl near Ara railway station 20 days after she went missing but her lover escaped from the spot.

SHO, Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur district, said that a teenage girl went missing from her house at village Jamalpur  under Koelwar police station about 20 days ago. A named FIR was lodged by Koelwar police station against Subhash and others of village Chandrapura village in connection with alleged kidnapping of the girl on the statement of her father. Police brought the girl over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical examination and also produced her before the court to get her statement registered under Section 164 of CrPC.
