Ara :Bhojpur police arrested three miscreants in connection with loot and murder of a person and sent them to jail after interrogation. Police also recovered two mobile phones and a blood stained knife used in the murder.

The arrested miscreants were identified as Vitesh Kumar alias Dhangur alias Bhola, son of Birendra Yadav of Karman Tola under Nawada police station (PS), Ara, Rakesh Kumar alias Dheeraj, son of late Vinay Mishra of Sonbarsha under Karnamepur police outpost, and Ranjeet Kumar, son of Kishori Rai of Dhudhuan under Ara Town PS.

SDPO Himanshu said that some armed miscreants had snatched cash and mobile phones from a driver and a Khalasi of a Pick-Up van near Koelwar bus stand under Koelwar PS in Bhojpur District on October 6, 2021, night. When they protested, the miscreants stabbed and injured the Khalasi Dhananjay Kumar who later succumbed to his injuries during treatment. An FIR was lodged with Koelwar PS  in this connection.

Taking serious note of the incident,  Bhojpur SP Vinay Tiwari formed a police team under the SDPO to arrest the miscreants. The police team, following technical information, arrested three miscreants and seized the looted mobile phones and a blood stained knife used in the murder.

In another development, police arrested one Nitish Kumar, son of late Jitendra Paswan of Sritola under Nawada PS. Police also seized a Camera of Canon company and  a motorcycle.
