Bhojpur police arrest murder case accused for demanding Rs 2 lakh from woman

Ara : Police arrested Raj Kishore Pal from Shahpur block campus in Bhojpur district on July 9, 2019, for allegedly demanding of Rs 2 lakh from a woman to facilitate her appointment of Aanganwadi Sevika.

Raj Kishore Pal is one of the named accused in the murder of Kamal Kishore Mishra, an eye witness in the murder of former State BJP Vice-President Bisheshwar Ojha, according to police. He is a resident of village Sonbarsha.

SHO, Karnamepur police outpost Santosh Kumar Rajak said that Raj Kishore Pal had demanded Rs 2 lakh from Pinki Devi of Sonbarsha village for her appointment as Aanganbadi Sevika in Prasaunda Panchayat with a threat not to fill up her form for  appointment to the post if she did not pay amount. Pinki Devi lodged a complaint with police in this connection.

Police got information on July that Raj Kishore Pal had come to the office of Child Development Project Officer located Shahpur block office campus. Police immediately conducted raids and arrested Raj Kishore Pal from there.
