Bhojpur police arrest murder case accused evading arrest for 20 years

Ara : Police, on a tip off, arrested an absconder Bhubaneshwar Rai, 65,  from village Khadaicha under Agiao police station in Bhojpur district on November 16, 2017.
Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar had received information that Bhubaneshwar Rai, son of Brijnandan Rai of village Ishwarpura under Garhani police station was seen at village Khadaicha village and he immediately directed SHO, Garhani police station, Sunil Kumar to arrest him. Bhubaneshwar Rai was a named accused in a case of  murder of a person at village Khaneth under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district about 20 years ago and was absconding since. The court had declared him absconder in 2002.

SHO, Garhani police station, Sunil Kumar, along with police force conducted raids at village Khadaicha and arrested Bhubaneshwar Rai though he tried to mislead the police.
