Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raid at the house of Md Mustaffa near Wax Factory at Raghutola under Ara Town police station (PS) on January 13, 2022, night, and arrested a miscreant and seized a loaded pistol and seven live cartridges from his possession. The arrested miscreant has been identified as Md Belal, 40, son of late Md Nezamuddin of Abarpul locality under Ara Town PS.
SHO, Ara Town PS, on January 14, 2022, said that he got information that some miscreants were hatching plan at the house of Md Mustafa near Wax Factory to commit crime ion January 13, 2022, night, after which he sent a police team that raided that house and arrested Md Belal. Police recovered a countrymade pistol with Made in USA written over it,, seven live cartridges, two mobile phones from his possession, the SHO said.
The SHO further said that Md Belal was wanted in a number of criminal cases and was awarded life imprisonment in case No. 92/11 filed against him with Ara Town PS under section 302/120(B) IPC and also under 27 Arms Act.
