Bhojpur police arrest 2 teenage boys on murder charge

Ara : Police arrested two teenage boys from village Digha under Dhangai police station in Bhojpur district on August 30, 2017, morning in connection with murder of  Rohit Kumar, 14, five days ago. Later, both the arrested boys were sent to Ara Remand Home.

The arrested boys were identified as Samresh Kumar, 14, son of Sri Bhagwan Yadav, and Amresh Kumar, 13, son of Ram Ji Yadav of village Digha under Dhangai police station.

SHO, Dhangai police station, said that Rohit Kumar, son of Ganesh Gond of village Digha, was a student of Class VII at the village school. He allegedly used to ridicule Samresh Kumar’s differently abled father Sri Bhagwan Singh by imitating him. This had angered Samresh. Samresh Kumar and Amresh Kumar thrashed and killed Rohit Kumar on August 25, 2017. Police recovered the body near the canal of the village on August 26, 2017.  A named FIR was lodged with  police against 10 persons of the village on the statement of the deceased’s uncle. Sri Bhagwan Singh lives in Bihia Colony and teaches students.
