Ara : Bhojpur police, with the help of their Noida counterpart, arrested two love birds from Noida and brought them over to Ara. Police also produced the girl before the court on August 3, 2018, to get her statement recorded under 164 CrPC. The girl said that she had gone with the youth on her own as she loved him.
SHO, Piro police station, Janjey Rai, said that the two love birds had fled away from their native village Laharabad under Piro police station about a month ago and the father of the girl had lodged a named FIR against Amit Kumar of the village charging him with kidnapping his daughter.
The girl said that Amit Kumar and she were friends and fell in love and decided to marry. As their family members were not ready, so they fled away from the village to marry.
