Bhojpur police 496 bottles of IMFL, 2 held

Ara : Bhojpur police seized 196 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and a car near a Check- post under Sahar police station on SJune 30, 2018, morning though the liquor smugglers managed to escape.

SHO, Sahar police station, Sanjay Kumar, said that he got information that some liquor smugglers were carrying IMFL from Khaira to Arwal via Sahar. He immediately started vehicle checking near Check-post near Sahar bridge and sealed the bridge. In the wee hour on June 30, the liquor smugglers came in a car and seeing the police checking vehicles dashed two cars parked there and fled away leaving their car behind. Police searched the car and found 196 bottles of IMFL inside it.

Police also seized 300 bottles of IMFL at village Singhahi village under Town police station, Ara,  the same day and arrested two liquor smugglers from there. Later,police sent them to jail.
