Ara: Bhojpur DM Birendra Prasad Yadav on Monday served show cause notices on Civil Surgeon (CS), Ara, Sadar Hospital and the District Animal Husbandry Officer (DAHO), Bhojpur, on Monday for being indifferent towards flood relief works.
The DM, with a view to checking outbreak of diseases, had directed the CS to spray bleaching powder in the flood affected areas but he remained indifferent and the bleaching powder was not sprayed. The DM took serious note of it and served show cause notice on him. The DAHO was served on show cause notice for not arranging fodder for the cattleheads despite repeated directive.
