Bhojpur DEO serves show cause notices on 6 teachers

Ara : On the direction of the Bhojpur DM Sanjeev Kumar, District Education Officer (DEO), Bhojpur, Avanindra Kumar, on February 22, 2018, served show cause notices on six school teachers and withheld their salary until further order for not doing invigilation duty in the on going matriculation examination on one excuse or the other.

The teachers served show cause notices are: Samina Salauddin, Assistant teacher, Urdu Primary School,  Nazirganj, Ara, Aslam Raza, S M Nizayuddin Tauhid, Alia Khatoon, Assistant teachers, Amirchand Girl Middle School, Ara, Kalawati Kumari, Assistant Teacher, Government Middle School, Anaith, and Ashok Kumar Singh, Assistant Teacher, Gurunanak Middle School.

Bhojpur DM Sanjeev Kumar had directed all the Centre Superintendents to assign invigilation duty to the school teachers in the on-going matriculation examination. But some teachers refused to perform the duty of invigilation on one excuse or the other. Taking strong exception to it, the DM directed the DEO to serve show cause notices on the erring teachers besides withholding their salary until further order.
