Bhojpur administration seals house of dismissed Data Operator

Ara : Bhojpur district administration sealed the house and office of the dismissed Data Operator, District Health Committee, Shyamanand Sharma, on the campus of Sadar Hospital, Ara, on July 23, 2018, late evening, though he escaped from the place in the presence of police force.

On the direction of Bhojpur District Magistrate (DM) Sanjeev Kumar a police team led by an Executive Magistrate Vikash Kumar conducted raids at the house and office of the Data Operator Shyamanand Sharma in connection with his appointment on the post of Data Operator in the District Health Committee on the basis of fake certificates. The team seized several papers and documents. The team broke lock of his office and then that of his house and seized papers and documents particularly related to sale and purchase of lands.

Shayamanand Sharma was appointed in the District Health Committed on the post of Data operator after which several complaints were filed before the Bhojpur DM regarding his appointment. The DM had ordered the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) to inquire into the matter. The DDC, after inquiry, found his appointment illegal made on the basis of fake certificate and submitted his report to the DM.

On the basis of the inquiry report, the DM dismissed Shayamanand Sharma with immediate effect and ordered him to hand over the charge to Sri Kant Sharan but Syamanand Sharma did not hand over the charge and locked the office and the house instead. When the team led by Executive Magistrate reached there Shayamanand Sharma was at the house but escaped.
