Bengal police fail to locate Ganja smuggler Ajay Singh

Ara : A five- member team of Bengal police led by Sub-Inspector Jai Kumar Chakravorty with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart conducted raid in Pakari locality under Nawada police station, Ara,  on January 24 to arrest a Ganja nsmuggler but failed to locate him.

The Bengal Police had seized one quintal of Ganja from a Mahindra Max vehicle and also arrested four Ganja smugglers on December 15, 2016. The consignment was brought from Odhisa and was to be sent to Bihar. The arrested ganja smugglers revealed before Bengal Police that Ajay Singh of Ara in Bihar was the owner of the seized vehicle and used it for smuggling Ganja. Earlier, Odhisa police had also come here for the same reason.
