Bengal police conduct raids in Bhojpur to recover kidnapped girl

Ara : Relying on mobile phone surveillance, a five member Bengal police team lead by Sub-Inspector, Muralidhar Mishra, of KLC police station, came to Ara and with the help of their Nawada Police Station, Ara, counterparts, conducted raid in Vishnunagar -Jagdeonagar locality under Nawada police station on April 6 and April 7, 2017, to recover a kidnapped girl from Bengal and arrest her kidnapper but are yet to succeed in their mission.

Muralidhar Mishra said that Sunil Kumar, son of Umashankar Singh of Shivpur village under Jagdishpur police station, lived in Vishnunagar – Jagdeonagar locality under Nawada police station in a rented house. He is linked with internet marketingand worked in Chandigarh and Kolkata. During his stay in Chandigarh, Sunil Kumar came in contact with a girl of Bengal who studied there. Sunil was later shifted to Kolkata and the girl also returned to Kolkata after completing her study. So, they remained in touch. Later, Sunil Kumar escaped with the girl on March 27, 2017. The maternal uncle of the girl lodged a named FIR with KLC police station against Sunil Kumar.

Muralidhar Mishra said that the Bengal police got some clue from the mobile surveillance that indicated their hideout somewhere at Ara and so the Bengal police team came here to arrest Sunil Kumar and recover the girl.
