Ara : A Bengali girl is running from one place to another to seek justice and meet her husband at  Ara. She along with her mother has taken shelter at Ramana Maidan here while the family members of her husband are planning to get him married to another girl.

Gautam Mehra had gone to Kolkata in West Bengal in 2014 to his grandfather seeking a job in the railway. He lived there for quite some time. During his stay there, he fell in love with a local girl Laxmi and tied nuptial knot with her in a local court.

After spending some months with her, Gautam told her in June 2015 that he was going to Bihar and will return soon to take her there but did not contact her for four months after his return from Kolkata. When Laxmi called him in October 2015, Gautam refused to keep her with him and offered her money to marry someone else instead. Laxmi moved the court against her  husband in 2015 itself. Laxmi said that she will get Gautam punished by the court.

The girl said she has sought help from Bhojpur district administration but to no avail so far and was  living under the open sky at Ramana Maidan.
