Patna : Bengal were 354/6 in 147 overs at stumps on Day 4 in their first innings in Ranji Trophy Final against Saurashtra at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot, Gujarat, on March 12, 2020, with Anustup Majumdar unbeaten on 58 in 134 balls hitting 8 fours and Arnab Nandi batting 28 in 82 balls with 3 fours and a six. Anustum and Arnab have added 91 runs in 158 balls in their unbroken partnership for the 7th wicket.

Earlier, Sudip Chatterjee and Wriddhiman Saha (wk) had added 101 runs for the 4th wicket. Sudip fell to spinner Dharmendrasinh Jadeja for 81 in 241 balls with 7 fours making it 225/4. Saha fell to medium fast bowler Prerak Mankad for 64 in 168 balls hitting 10 fours and a six making it 242/5. ShahbazAhmed fell to Chetan Sakaria for 16 and it and it was 263/6. Bengal lost only three wickets on Day 4, all three in second session of the play.

Saurashtra were all out for 425 in 171.5 overs in their first innings with Arpit Vasavada scoring 106 and Cheteswar Pujara scoring 66. Bengal trail by 71 runs.
