BDO, Barhara, threatened with dire consequence

Ara : Block Development Officer (BDO), Barhara block in Bhojpur District, was threatened with dire consequences. An FIR was lodged with Barhara police station on December 9, 2019, and police are probing into the matter.

BDO, Barhara block, Sushil Kumar said that Fauzi and two other entered his chamber and queried as to why their names had been deleted from the government sponsored welfare schemes. They also threatened the BDO with dire consequences if he did not add their names to list of beneficiaries  of the welfare schemes and hampered the government works.

SHO, Barhara police station, said that police are investigating the matter and added that the accused  would not be spared at any cost.
