Ara : Police on October 30, 2018, arrested founder president of Bharatiya Atal Sena (BAS) Hari Ji Tiwari for allegedly making derogatory comments on social media against Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, New and Renewable Energy and BJP MP from Ara Raj Kumar Singh.

Rakesh Pratap Yadav, Technical Manager, Energy Efficiency Service Limited (EESL), had lodged a named FIR with Agiaw Bazaar police station in Bhojpur district under Section 41 of IPC against Hari Ji Tiwari, founder president of Bharatiya Atal Sena for allegedly posting comments on social media against Raj Kumar Singh accusing him of corruption and favouratism. On the complaint of Rakesh Pratap Yadav,police arrested Hari Ji Tiwari from his native village Khairi-Twaridih.

SHO, Agiawa Bazaar police station, confirmed the arrest of Hari Ji Tiwari and said that further action would be taken on the direction of the senior officials.

Hari Ji Tiwari, a former Piro block unit BJP president, was once considered close to Union Minister Raj Kumar Singh. Due to some ideological differences, Hari Ji Tiwari was expelled from the BJP and after that he had opened a front against Raj Kumar Singh and used to post comment against him on social media.
