Barty, Simona remain World No 1 & 2 in WTA Rankings, Riya Bhatia jumps 26 places

Patna : Ashleigh Barty ( 8,367 points), Simona Halep (5,796 points), and Karolina Pliskova ( 5,290 points) remain static at World No 1, 2 & 3 in WTA Rankings released on February 17, 2020, but Belinda Bencic, Switzerland, has jumped one spot to be ranked World No 4 with 4,720 points.

US Open Champion Bianca Vanesa Andreescu, Canada, has also jumped 1 position to be ranked World No 5 with 4,665 points while Elina Svitolina, Ukraine, has slipped 2 places to be ranked World No 6 with 4,650 points. Australian Open Champion Sofia Kenin, USA, remains World No 7 with 4,495 points. Kiki Bertens, Netherlands, is World No 8 with 4,335 points while Serena Williams, USA, remains static at World No 9 with 3,915 points. Former US Open and Australian Champion Naomi Osaka, Japan, is World No 10 with 3,626 points. Cori Gauff, USA, remains static at World No 51 with 1,112 points.

Ankita Raina, India, has slipped 1 position to be ranked World No 176 with 339 points while Riya Bhatia, 22, India, has jumped 26 places to be ranked World No 349 with 134 points. Rutuja Bhosala, India, has jumped 2 places and ranked World No 458 with 87 points while Karman Kaur Thani, India, has slipped 3 places and ranked World No 587 with 53 points.  Sowjanya Bavisetti, India, has slipped 3 places to be ranked World No 626 with 46 points.
