Patna : Top seed and World No 2 Ashleigh Barty, 23, Australia, beat World No 33 Maria Sakkari, 24, Greece, in a three-set encounter to enter the semi-finals of Cincinnati Open at Ohio, USA, on August 16, 2019, late night. Barty defeated Sakkari 5-7, 6-2, 6-0 in the quarter-finals coming from behind to advance to the SFs.
