Sitamarhi : The Baraat Party of Lord Sri Ram from Ayodhya reached Sitamarhi in North Bihar the birthplace of Goddess Sita on November 24, 2019, evening. The Baraat Party proceeded to Janakpurdham, the capital of Lord Janak in Nepal, on November 25.
The Baraat party including the bridegrooms were welcomed amidst fanfare here at Sitamarhi with the town decked with earthen lamps and lights to celebrate the occasion. A large crowd had been gathered on both sides of the roads to receive them. The marriage will be solemnised at Janakpurdham on Vivah Panchami.
