Patna: Bangladesh stunned Australia in the first cricket test at Dhaka defeating them by 20 runs on August 30, 2017, even as opener David Warner scored 112 runs in the second innings for Australia. Australia were all out for 244 in the second innings having scored 217 in the first innings. Bangladesh scored 260 runs in the first innings and 221 in the second innings.

For Bangladesh Shakib Al Hasan took 10 wickets in the test and was declared Man of the Match. Shakib had also scored 84 runs in Bangladesh’s first innings. Tamim Iqbal scored 71 runs in the first innings and 78 runs in the second innings. Both the countries are playing test series against each other after a gap of 11 years.

West Indies, on the other hand, upset England in the second test at Leeds attaining a tough target of 322 runs in their second innings on August 29, 217. Sai Hope scored century in both the innings of the test match for West Indies.
