Bagaha : SDM, Bagaha, Ghanshyam Meena accompanied by Deputy Collector Land Reforms (DCLR) Jai Chandra Yadav, Assistant Election Officer Anil Patel, Block Development Officer (BDO) Shashi Bhusan Suman, Circle Officer (CO) Rajkishor Sah besides other officials of the sub-division held a meeting at village Patilar to discuss ways to declare all villages in Patilar panchayat under Bagaha-1 block in West Champaran district Open Defecation Free (ODF) by the end of November 2017.
The SDM and his team members also discussed methods to provide all besic amenities to each family of all the panchayats under Bagaha sub-division by March 2018 under Clean India Mission. The SDM and his team members listened to the grievances of the villagers and tried to solve them on the spot itself. The SDM stressed on the importance of toilets and safe drinking water. He said that unhygienic condition is the root of all kinds of deseases.
The SDM himself gave a demonstration of digging pit of a toilet. The other officials followed him to encourage the villagers to construct toilets at their houses. The SDM said that those completing 80% construction work of the toilet, will get subsidy ino their respective bank accounts immediately
