Bagaha police arrest 4 criminals with firearm, 2 bikes, and looted cash

Bagaha : Police arrested four criminals with a firearm, a cellphone, and two bikes besides recovering Rs 30,000 looted cash  from their possessions in Bagaha Police District on September 4, 2019.

Giving this information here, Bagaha SP Rajiv Ranjan said that a police team headed by SDPO, Bagaha,  Sanjiv Kumar, carried out raids at various places under Chautarawa police station and arrested four criminals after hot chase near Baba bridge where they were planning to commit crime. During their interrogation, the four criminals identified themselves as Amar Kumar Das and Manoj Kumar Vishwas of Chautarawa  and Ajay Ram and Shambhu  Chaudhary of village  Bahuyarawa and confessed the  crimes they had committed, the SP said.

SP Rajiv Ranjan said that the cash seized from the possession of the criminals was looted by them on August 27, 2019, at Bardaha under Chautarawa police station. All the four criminals were sent to Bagaha Sub-Jail, he added.
