Bagaha : First Class Judicial Magistrate, Bagaha, Feroz Aqram, on October 12, 2018, sentenced to four -and-a-half years imprisonment one Sujit Dom of Chautarawa police station in Bagaha police district in a theft case lodged with Valmilkinagar police station on April 24, 1995. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 15,000 on convict Sujit Dom. Six witnesses deposed before the court, said Kumari Rinku, Additional Prosecution Officer, Bagaha Court.
Six 6 thieves had committed theft in the house of Meena Devi of village Piparakutti under Valmikinagar police station, according to the FIR. Meena Devi was happy with the court verdict though it came after 23 years.
