Patna : Set a target to 399 runs, Australia were 68/3 at lunch on Day 4 in their 2nd innings of 5th Ashes Test against England at Kennington Oval, London, on September 15, 2019, with Steven Smith unbeaten on 18 hitting 3 fours and Matthew Wade batting on 10 with 1 four. Australia need 331 runs to win this test.

Openers Marcus Harris and David Warner scored 9 and 11 runs respectively both getting out to fast bowler Stuard Broad, who is having a great series. Marnus Labuschagne, the find of the series for Australia, fell to spinner Jack Leach for 14 making it 56/3.  Warner, who has hit 21 test centuries, scored just 95 runs in this Ashes series. This includes a fifty plus ( 61) innings in 3rd test.
