Patna : Opener David Warner,33, scored an unbeaten 151 in 265 balls with 10 fours and his opening partner Joe Burns scored 97 in 166 balls with 10 fours as Australia reached 312/1 in 87 overs at stumps on Day 2 in their first innings in 1st test against Pakistan at The Gabba, Brisbane, Australia, on November 22, 2019.
It was Warner’s fourth 150 or more score. It was his 22nd test century and first in 18 innings. Of his 22 test centuries, Warner has scored sixteen centuries at home. It was also his 4th century against Pakistan.
Warner and Burns added 222 runs for first wicket. Burns fell to spinner Yasir Shah for 97 missing what would have been his 5th test century by only 3 runs. Warner and Marnus Labuschagne have added 90 runs in their unbroken partnership for 2nd wicket. Labuschange is unbeaten on 55 in 94 balls with 6 fours.
Pakistan were all out for 240 in their first innings on Day 1.
