Patna : Chasing a target of 267, Australia were 154/6 in 42 overs in their second innings on Day 5 in the 2nd Ashes Test against England at Lord’ , London, with Travis Head batting on 42 in 74 balls hitting 9 fours and Pat Cummins batting on 1. Australia need 1114 runs to win with only 6 overs of play left. England, who were all out for 258 in their first iinings, declared their second innings at 258/5 in the second seesion of the play on Day 5.
Australia lost their first wicket that of opener David Warner with 13 runs on board. Warner fell to fast bowler Jofra Archer for 5. Usman Khawaja also fell to Archer for 2 making it 19/2. Opener Cameron Bancroft fell to spinner Jack Leach for 16 and it was 47/3. Marnus Labuschagne, the concusion substitute for Steven Smith, then added 85 runs with Travis Head for 4th wicket. Labuschagne fell to Leach for 59 with 8 fours making it 132/4. Matthew Wade also to Leach for 1 and it was 135/5. Captain Tim Paine (wk) fell to Jofra Archer for 4 making it 149/6
