Around 8,000 cases settled at National Lok Adalat at Ara

Ara : Nearly 8,000 cases related to bank, water, family disputes, electricity, and compoundable criminal cases were disposed of at the National Lok Adalat organised on the campus of Ara Civil Court on December 13, 2019.

District and Sessions Judge P C Choudhary inaugurated the National Lok Adalat. ADJ I Rakesh Kumar Singh, ADJ III Tribhuwan Yadav, ADJ XIV Narendra Kumar, Secretary, District Legal Service Authority, Sunil Kumar Singh, District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Roushan Kushwaha, and dozens of judicial, administrative, and bank officials were present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, DJ Choudhary said that the National Lok Adalat is organised for the benefit of the people and also reduce case load on the court. Such Lok Adalat bring social harmony as the decisions are taken with the consent of both the parties.
