Sasaram : Around six students were injured as a speeding Dayanand Anglo Public school bus dashed a roadside tree under Akohigola police station (PS) in Rohtas District in South Bihar on October 20, 2021. The locals rushed the injured students to the Narayan Medical Hospital. The locals said that the driver was driving the bus at high speed and lost control over the steering and the vehicle dashed a tree on roadside.
The government has made guidelines for all the private schools that own or engage buses for carrying students. All the buses are to be painted in yellow colour and the speed of the buses have also been prescribed. But the guidelines regarding the speed are seldom followed though most of the buses are painted in yellow colour.
