Patna : Seven armed criminals with their faces covered looted Rs 1.27 lakh cash and 315 rifle from Anand Fuels on NH 30 A under Daniyawan police station in Patna district around 2.15 am on March 22, 2017, after making the eight petrol pump employees hostage at gun point and assaulting them.

The petrol pump is hardly 500 metres away from Daniyawan police station. Two petrol pump employees sustained head injuries while three others suffered hand and leg injuries as the criminals hit them with a big iron cutter, according to petrol pump owner Manoj Kumar. It may be recalled here that armed criminals had recently looted huge cash from Subhkamna Petrol Pump under Fatuha police station but located just  2 km away from Anand Fuels.

Daniyawan police station SHO, Mohammad Nadim Akhtar, said that police had collected some evidence and got vital clues about the criminals and even followed their retreat line though they are yet to be arrested. The SHO said that an FIR had been lodged in this connection.
