Sasaram : Police recovered two bodies from a pond near Rupi-bandh under Parasathua Police Outpost in Rohtas district on March 13, 2019, and brought the bodies over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased were identified as Tarachand Gupta, owner of a Rice Mill, and Gopal Sah, an employee of the Mill.
ASP Rajesh Kumar along with police force rushed to the spot. Irate residents of the area blocked NH-30 near Parasathua village for about three hours demanding arrest of the criminals involved the twin murders. An FIR has been lodged with Parasathua police outpost but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.
Rohtas SP, Satyaveer Singh said that some armed miscreants attacked a Rice Mill on March 12, 2019, evening, and tried to flee away with the booty. When the owner and his employee protested, the miscreants killed both of them. They tied the hands and feet with ropes and threw the two bodies into a pond located nearby and escaped. The SP said that police are conducting raids at different places to arrest the miscreants.
