Ara Sadar Hospital employees stage demonstration to protest conduct of doctor

Ara : Class III and Class IV employees of Ara Sadar Hospital tied black ribbons and staged demonstrated in front of the office of the Civil Surgeon on the campus of Ara Sadar Hospital on November 26, 2019, after an Assistant was allegedly threatened with dire consequence by a doctor posted at the Hospital. They were demanding arrest of the doctor and said if their demand was not conceded, they would resort to indefinite strike. The Assistant concerned has filed a named FIR with Ara Town police station against the doctor.

The Civil Surgeon had directed an Assistant Satya Prakash Yadav to prepare duty roaster of doctors and he prepared a duty roasters of doctors in which name of Dr Rajiv Singh also figured. Satya Prakash Yadav alleged that seeing his name in the duty roaster, Dr Rajiv Singh lost his temper and misbehaved with him also threatened him with dire consequences on mobile phone. Dr Rajiv Singh could not be contacted for his comment.
