Ara : The inmates of Ara Remand Home in Bhojpur district went on fast in the morning on July 20, 2018, in protest against non- availability of basic amenities. They also went on rampage, burnt woods and other articles there and also raised slogans against the officials of Remand Home.
The Remand Home officials immediately informed the district administration and the officials rushed to the spot and assured the inmates that all their demands would be conceded. Rajiv Ranjan, Child Protection Officer, said that the inmates were very aggressive but senior officials of the Bhojpur district administration pacified them.
