Ara Court sentences 2 murder case accused to rigorous life imprisonment

Ara : Additional District and Sessions Judge I, Ara, R K Singh, on November 7, 2019, sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment two persons : Pramod Prasad and Binod Prasad, and also slapped a fine of Rs 18,000 on each of them in connection with murder of Ajay Kumar Rajak on January 5, 2018.

APP Satyendra Kumar Singh Dara said that Ajay Kumar Rajak of village Zamira under Ara Muffasil police station in Bhojpur District was on a stroll at the village on January 5, 2019, evening, when two armed miscreants shot him dead and escaped. A named FIR was lodged with Ara Muffasil police station against Pramod Prasad and Binod Prasad on the statement of brother of the deceased Chunna Kumar Rajak. Old enmity is said to be cause behind the incident.

After hearing both the parties, the ADJ I, Ara, awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Pramod Prasad and Binod Prasad and also slapped a fine of Rs 18,000 on each of them.
