Kumar Rajiv Nayan
Ara : Additional District and Sessions Judge I, Ara, R K Singh, granted bail to Secretary, Mahila Vikas Manch, Divyani Dubey, on September 20, 2019, in connection with allegedly putting video of sex victim minor girl in her Facebook account.
Special Public Prosecutor, Protection of Child from Sexual Offence (POCSO), Sarita Kumari, said that after a video of the minor girl was made viralon the social media on September 1, 2019, in which she was citing the name of the RJD MLA from Sandesh in Bhojpur, Arun Yadav, for outraging her modesty, a team of Mahila Vikas Manch from Patna visited Ara on September 6, 2019, to inquire into the matter. The team had a talk with the girl and at its instance, police produced the girl in the court to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of CrPC second time. Later, the team members took the girl to Patna with them.
Meanwhile, the video of dialogue between the girl and the members of the team went viral in the Facebook id of Secretary, Mahila Vikas Manch, Divyani Dubey, and a named FIR was lodged with Ara Town police station against heron the direction of Bhojpur SP Sushil Kumar.
The Special PP said that the Secretary, Mahial Vikas Manch, Divyani Dubey, surrendered before the court of the ADJ I, R K Singh, and the court, after hearing, granted her bail.
