Patna : Top seed and reigning World Champion Kento Momota, 24, Japan, and 7th seed and World No 9 Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, Indonesia, will lash in the men’s singles final of Victor China Open, an HSBC BWF Would Tour Super 1,000 evet, at Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Changzhou, China, on September 22, 2019.

World No 1 Momota edged past reigning Olympic Gold Medallist Chen Long, 30, China, the World No 5, 19-21, 21-18, 21-16 in 1hr 27 minutes coming from behind in the semi-finals on September 21, 2019. Momota won 61 rallies in the match to 55 by Long. Both the players won 6 consecutive points each in the match. Fifth seed Long, however, leads Momota 5-4 Head to Head.

Ginting beat World No 4 Anders Antonsen, Denmark, the 8th seed, in a three-game slugfest 18-21, 21-5, 21-14 lasting 68 minutes in the semi-finals. Ginting won 60 rallies in the match to 40 by Antonsen. Ginting won 9 consecutive points in the match to 5 by the Dane. Ginting now leads Antonsen 2-0 Head to Head.
