Anti-encroachment drive at Bagaha

Bagaha : An anti-encroachment drive was undertaken at Bagaha on November 16, 2018, to facilitate smooth flow of vehicular traffic on NH 28 (b ) from Government Kamalnath Tiwari Hospital to Gaushala during which several hutments and temporarily shops were removed from both flanks of the road. The drive was launched on the directive of SDM, Bagaha, Ghanshyam Meena.

The encroachment on Veterinary Hospital, Bagaha, where many unauthorised persons were dumping sand and stonechips, was also removed, sources said. The SDM said that action under Section 107 of the CRPC would be initiated against the encroachers.

The encroachment on Naraipur- Semara state highway was also removed under Nagar Parishad, Bagaha, jurisdiction by Nagar Parishad authorities. Traffic was occasionally chocked on the road by sugarcane laden trollies, trucks, and bullock carts. SDM Meena said that half a dozen overloaded vehicles including three sand laden trucks were seized and fine was imposed on two dozens three-wheelers unauthorised parking along the roadside.
