Ankita Raina jumps 17 places in WTA Rankings

Patna : Ankita Raina, 27, India, has jumped 17 places to be ranked World No 160 with 383 points in the WTA Rankings released on March 2, 2020, after winning after winning singles title at a women’s ITF tournament at Jodhpur, India, recently. Ankita has won 11 ITF titles in her career.

Riya Bhatia, India, has jumped 7 places to be ranked World No 338 with 142 points while Rutuja Bhosale, India, has jumped 25 places to be ranked World N0 433 with 95 points. But, Karman Kaur Thandi, India, has slipped 4 places to be ranked World No 592 with 52 points.  Sojanya Bavisetti, India, has jumped 29 places to be ranked World No 600 with 51 points.

Ashleigh Barty ( 8,717 points), Australia, and Simona Halep (6,076 points), Romania, remain World No 1 & 2 respectively while Karolina Pliskova (5,205 points), Czech Republic, is World No 3. Serena Williams, USA, the winner of 23 Grand Slam singles titles, has slipped 1 place to be ranked World N0 9 with 3,915 points.
