Anil Kumar Jain appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Coal

New Delhi :  Anil Kumar Jain, IAS (MP:86) and Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, was on September 20, 2019, appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Coal. He will replace Sumanta Chaudhuri, IAS (WS:85).

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Anil Kumar Jain, IAS (MP:86), Special Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, as Secretary, Ministry of Coal vice Sumanta Chaudhuri, IAS (WS:85), according to a PIB release.
