Patna : World No 18 in WTA rankings Anastasija Sevastova, 28, Latvia, stunned defending champion and World No 3 Slaone Stephens, 25, USA, in the quarter-finals of US Open championship on September 4, 2018, night. Anastasija beat Stephens in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 to enter the semi-finals of US Open 2018.
