Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Kesari’ grosses Rs 110 cr in 9 days

Patna : Anurag Singh directorial ‘Kesari’ , a film based on Battle of Saragarhi in 1897 starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopr, has turned out to be a major hit on 2019 doing a business of over Rs 110 crore in 9 days since its release on March 21, 2019, on 3,600 screens across the country. The film was made on a budget of about Rs 80 crore.

Mir Sarwar, Bansh Bhardwaj, Jaspreet Singh, Vivek Saini, and Vokram Kochar have played supporting role in the film. The film had done a business of over Rs 21 crore on its opening day on March 21, 2019, and on March 29, 2019, it did a business of over Rs 4.4 crore. The performance of Akshay Kumar as Havildar Ishar Singh in the film has been highly appreciated by the moviegoers as well as critics.
