Ajay Narayan Jha made OSD, Deptt of Expenditure

New Delhi : The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on October 11, 2017, approved the appointment of Ajay Narayan Jha, IAS (MN 82), Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, as Officer on Special Duty in the Department of Expenditure with immediate effect. The officer will assume charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Expenditure on superannuation of Ashok Lavasa, IAS (HY 80).

C K Mishra, a 1983 batch IAS of Bihar cadre and Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has been appoined as Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change in the vacancy caused due to appointment of  Ajay Narayan Jha, IAS (MN 82) as OSD, Department of Expenditure, according to a PIB release.

Preeti Sudan, IAS (AP 83), Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution, has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. Ravi Kant, a 1984 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer and Secretary, Ministry of Shipping, has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Food & Public Distribution, according to the release.
