Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Raid’ collects Rs 53 cr in 5 days

Patna : Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’ Cruz starrer film ‘Raid’ is doing well at the box office grossing around Rs 53 crore in five days since its release on March 16, 2018, on about 3,400 screens across the country. Ajay Devgn plays an Income-Tax Officer Amay Patnaik in the film while Saurabh Shukla plays a power hungry politician.

The film, directed by Rak Kumar Gupta, collected over Rs 17 crore on March 18, 2018, on the third day. It had done a business of over Rs 10 crore on March 16 and around Rs 14 crore on March 17. It was made on a budget of about Rs 70 crore including print and advertising cost of almost Rs 15 crore. It will be termed a hit if it grosses a business of over Rs 80 crore.
